The Izard County Consolidated Cougars finished fourth place in the Poplar Bluff Showdown on Dec. 28, falling to a very talented Staley School of Kansas City. Senior Gabe Spray finished the game with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Kasen Black had 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists.Spray who was named to the Poplar Bluff Showdown All-Tournament Team. Over the past three games, he collected an impressive 58 points and 24 rebounds against some very good basketball teams.
