28, 2022, at Batesville, Ark. Joan was born Dec.

11, 1940, in St. Louis, Mo. to Charles Stief and Ruby (Witt) Stief.

Joan married John Snodgrass on Oct. 26, 1984, in Jasper, Texas. Joan was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Joan loved her dogs, karaoke, cards, bingo, dancing, and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #9777 in Salem, Ark. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt and friend.

Joan leaves to mourn her passing, four sons, Don Springstun (Cathy) of DeRidder, La., Daniel Springstun of Salem, Ark., David Springstun (Christina) of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Darren Springstun (Christy) of Salem, Ark.; two daughters, Donna Ashworth (Bentley) of Violet Hill, Ark. and Diana Lejeune of Oxford, Ark.; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Martin of Granite City, Ill. and Mickey Davenport (Bruce) of Hopkinsville, Ky.; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters (Rosalee Miller and Janet Dixon), and two brothers (Dan Stief and Charles Witt).

Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Ark. with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation was 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022, at Barker Funeral Home. The interment was in the Violet Hill Cemetery in Violet Hill, Ark. Pallbearers were Darren Springstun, Dryver Springstun, Avery Lejeune, David Springstun, Vaughn Richard and Bryan Gryder. Honorary pallbearers were Randall Springstun, Zach Morehead, Bentley Ashworth and Tylor Springstun.
