On Tuesday, Dec. 13, 45 students from grades 4th through 8th grade participated in the Salem Schools spelling bee. The top six spellers will attend the county spelling bee on Jan. 24, 2023. The county spelling bee will be held this year at Salem Schools with Viola and Mammoth Spring attending. Students heading to the county spelling bee are Tucker Browning, Alexis Sanders, Keyden Kerley, Lara Arnett, Camryn Nelson and Noah Barker. The top spellers were Tucker Browning first place, Alexis Sanders second place and Keyden Kerley third place. Good luck to all in the county spelling bee.
