The Izard County Jr. High Quiz Bowl team is the champion of the NAESC tournament, that took place at Ozarka College on Wednesday Jan. 10. The Cougars tallied a 5-0 record with the following wins: ICC 290 - Mammoth Spring 140; ICC 410 - Rural Special 70; ICC 270 - Highland 160; ICC 320 - Mtn. View 220; Championship Game: ICC 255 - Cave City 185 Evan Cole led scoring with an average of 8 toss-ups per game. Alex Millington and Ian Bear each contributed 4 toss-ups per game.
