Larry Joe Dean, 80, of Pocahontas departed this life on January 24, 2024, at his home.  Larry was born October 8, 1943, to the late Clyde Dean and Eva Mae Adele White Dean in the Sharum Community.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde, and Eva Dean; wife, Linda Johnson Dean, and sister Cona Jean Doan.

He is survived by his children, Celena (DG) Rorex of Pocahontas, Ginger (Chris) Tillman of Black Rock, step daughters, Meghan Howell of Viola, and Heather (Brock) Marberry of Flippin; grandchildren, Jonathon Rorex of Pocahontas, Tel (Makenzie) Britton of Jonesboro, Jordan (Marshall) Thompson of Pocahontas, Makenzie (Alex) Jones of Bono, Brayden Marberry of Flippin, Haley Marberry of Flippin  and Braxton Howell of Viola; great grandchildren, Kamdin Thompson of Pocahontas, Tatum Britton of Jonesboro and soon to be great grandson, Bodey Jones of Bono; niece, Melody Doan of Pocahontas and nephew, Shawn Doan of Pocahontas; many other family and friends.

Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:30 P.M. Sunday, January 28, 2024, with the funeral service to begin at 2:30 P.M. with Jeral Dean officiating. All services will be held in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Sharum Cemetery.
