The defending 3A state basketball champion Salem Lady Greyhounds lost in a heartbreaker on Thursday, March 7 against the Bergman Lady Panthers in the 3A Girls State Basketball Championship Game 56-33. Bergman started the game on a 9-0 run and never looked back, ending the Lady Greyhounds historic quest for back-to-back state titles. Here the team celebrated getting into the championship final.
