CV SID commissioner charged with harassment
The Cherokee Village Suburban Improvement District is again under the microscope as it was released one of its commissioners has been arrested and charged with alleged harassment of a citizen.According to a police report provided by CV Police Chief Monte Lane, SID commissioner David Nebel, 69, was cited for harassment after an alleged incident occurred at the Lake Sequoyah boat ramp in Cherokee Village that occurred between July 19-26 and reported on July 31.Coy Holder, 74, of Ravenden, reported the incident to law enforcement where he was said to tell Chief Lane on two occasions, “David Nebel had aggravated and harassed him while he was fishing on Lake Thunderbird.”The police report stated Holder had been allegedly harassed on three different occasions while fishing and that on two of those occasions it was from a boat dock where Nebel was said to tell Holder, “He was in big trouble now and was going to be arrested and kicked off the lake.”Holder was said to have told Lane that Nebel berated him and another individual listed as Joey Jessen.
