LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – While getting children to brush their teeth is not the easiest task, it can be an important one. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that over half of children aged six to eight years old and over half of adolescents aged 12 to 19 have had a cavity in one of their baby or adult teeth. Cavities are preventable, though, and the CDC has recommendations for parents to help prevent them in babies and children.

Ozarka College offers Diabetes Care Class

Ozarka College’s Mountain View campus will be hosting a continuing education course – Living Better with Diabetes. Led by Ana Hollis, the classes will take place on March 4, 11, 18, and 25 from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. in the Student Services Building at Ozarka College in Mountain View, located at 1800 Ozarka College Drive.
