Smoke is our adoptable of the week. She is named for her beautiful, rather rare, grey coloring. Look up Silver Labs and you will see the similarities. Smoke is a young adult, estimated age is around 1 year old. She was found as a stray and is looking for a forever home that would like that smaller lab mix dog with friendliness, loyalty and endurance labs are known for.

Johnny was born on Nov. 21, 1943, and raised in Egypt, Arkansas, along with his three brothers and five sisters. The kids and his parents all “picked and chopped cotton….and raised chickens and turkeys.”
Sweet Pea is our adoptable of the week. The word “sweet” is used a lot, but it so fits this 8-10-month-old female, that she was quickly given the name. We don’t know her background life but we do know she keeps her kennel as clean as she can, her toys stay intact and she loves a blanket to cuddle with. Sweet Pea does great with free run with the puppies, and has learned her routines very well. Watching her run; she is a beauty when all stretched out like a gazelle. Sweet Pea has only been at the shelter approximately two months.
