JONESBORO – Once a student has completed his or her education at Arkansas State University, their next challenge is landing their first job in their chosen field.Crystal Blake, assistant director of records in the Registrar’s Office said in the past, students only needed to have a transcript when applying for jobs but more and more are being asked to provide a diploma as well.From this point forward, students who receive any kind of credential from A-State, whether it be a certificate or diploma, will receive both a physical copy and a digital copy.“This digital version of the diploma can be shared via all social media platforms, but most importantly, students can provide the digital version of the credential to potential employers.
