A Fun Way to Relive the Founding of Hardy: A preview of Hardy Homesteaders Day

The monthly meeting of the Hardy History Association is Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hardy Gym, 203 School Street. Crystal Gray is the presenter and will share 'A Fun Way to Relive the Founding of Hardy' about the upcoming Hardy Homesteaders Day event. Crystal Gray and her husband, Robert Gray, committee chairpersons, have been working diligently preparing for the event to be held Sept. 24, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Loberg Park and along Main Street in Hardy. Crystal and Robert live outside of Thayer, Mo. on a farm with cows, donkeys, goats, chickens, cats and a dog. They have five children and nine grandchildren.

SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans available to Missouri small businesses

Small non-farm businesses in the following counties are now eligible to apply for low interest federal disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration. These loans offset economic losses because of reduced revenues caused by drought that occurred in the following primary counties in Missouri, announced Director Tanya N. Garfield of SBA’s Disaster Field Operations Center-West.
