Arkansas Tech University has announced its Dean’s List for undergraduate students on its Russellville campus for the spring 2022 semester. A student must achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher and complete at least 12 hours of collegelevel coursework to be named to the Dean’s List.

Ravenden Springs town clean up will be held on Saturday, May 21. Dumpsters will be on site from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. for citizens that live within the town limits or receive water services from the town of Ravenden Springs. The location of the dumpsters will be at the field by the Smokey BelcherPark parking area. A loader and excavator will be on site to assist with unloading.

Ozark Folk Center State Park’s Cowboy Music & Arts Festival is Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21, in scenic Mountain View. The two-day event celebrates the songs and stories of the American Cowboy and will feature Grammy Awardwinning musicians, family-friendly entertainment, art, live music in the Craft Village and Southern food buffets at the Skillet Restaurant.

Emma Weeks and Quadarius Jackson have been awarded the 2022 Founders Awards at Williams Baptist University. The awards were presented to the pair during WBU’s graduation luncheon on Friday, May 6.
