The Viola Longhorn tennis team performed strong again on Tuesday, defeating Sacred Heart Catholic by a score of five matches to two.
On Sept. 8, officers with Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and Salem Police Department responded to an area near Asher Road and 395 North approximately six (6) miles north of Salem in regards to a domestic.
Hulk Hogan continues to wait for his forever home and will greet you with his tail wagging. Hulk is a bit of a jumper…he just can’t contain that excitement, and would need continued training in that area. This brown and white hound mix is neutered and up to date on rabies shot. He is a happy guy and would fit in a variety of home environments, but a fenced area is a definite bonus for his exercise needs.

What has been talked about on and off for months is moving a bit closer to a finish as the Cherokee Village Suburban Improvement District unanimously approved to move forward with selling two sets of acreage of five and 18 acres to Waste Connections near its operations at the landfill off of Highway 289 during a special CVSID meeting on Aug. 25.

I certainly felt that chill last week. Made my toes cold. Yes, I was still wearing flip flops. I’ve learned my lesson to not over dress. By the time it gets to the end of the day, the heat returns. This past week, not so much for the most part. And I am not complaining about it at all.
