The Annual Property Owners’ Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, April 22 at the North Golf Course with a 9 a.m. start time.

The Salem Lady Greyhounds snatched the lead late in the game in a 4-2 victory over Melbourne on Monday, March 13. The game was tied at two with Salem batting in the top of the seventh when Katie Fish singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

The Viola Longhorns softball team won its season opener on March 6 against Cave City 4-0. Cheyenne Newberry was 1-3 with a 2B and 2 RBI.

The Viola Longhorns baseball season is underway as the Longhorns started their season off in a nonconference win against Mammoth Spring at the Viola City Park on March 7, with a score of 15-5. Junior Braden Williams took the mound for the Longhorns going 5.2 innings, striking out 10 throwing 95 pitches.
