Nominations for the Highland High School Rebel Athletic Hall of Fame are now being accepted for consideration by the Board and Selection Committee. Community involvement is strongly encouraged.
A four-person scramble golf tournament will be held on Saturday, April 22; shot gun starts at 9 a.m. at the North Golf Course in Cherokee Village. Fees will be $45 per person/$180 per team. You must be a property owner to play.

Highland Rebel Sports is very pleased to announce the hiring of Sterling Stowers as the Rebel Football Head Coach for the 2023-24 season. We are thrilled to have Coach Stowers take on this new role and are extremely confident in his ability to lead his team to many successes in the future.
The Highland Rebels got a big win over Hillcrest on March 10. They finished the game in 5 innings with a final score of 12-2. The Rebels were hot at the plate tallying a big triple from Hunter Yates and doubles from Zac Huckabee and Keagan Statler, plus 9 singles from 5 other Rebels. On the mound, Cash Arnhart struck out 5 in 4 innings. Noah Powell came in to close the game and struck out two of the final three batters. Their record moves to 4-0.
The first batter of the game scored for Cedar Ridge, but that would be the only run they would get on the day. With a final score of 16-1, the Highland Rebels run-ruled the Timberwolves in the 4th inning on March 8, with 8 of the 9 batters in the lineup crossing home plate at least once.
Mammoth Spring BETA will host a donkey basketball game on Saturday, March 25 at 7 p.m. to raise money for students who have qualified to compete at nationals.
Baseball season is here for the 2023 Viola Longhorns. The squad will host Mammoth Spring on Tuesday, March to start their season.
