During halftime of Saturday's basketball games, the Junior Shooting Sports team was recognized and presented with state championship rings for its huge accomplishment. The Arkansas Youth Shooting Sports Program (YSS) is sponsored by the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission.

The Highland Rebels and junior Rebels both earned big conference wins on the road against Trumann recently. For the junior Rebels, the final score was 41-25.
Arkansas State University established its esports teams in 2019 and over the past three years, the teams have expanded their reach across campus. There are now 35 players and eight teams.
