Megan McBride was dominant in the circle, as the starter rang up 11 strikeouts in Izard County Lady Cougars’s 4-3 victory over Marshall Varsity Bobcats on Thursday at Marshall. McBride surrendered four hits and three runs over seven innings.

Makensie Yancey collected three hits in four at bats, as Izard County Lady Cougars defeated Cedar Ridge Varsity Timberwolves 18-8 on Thursday at Izard County Consolidated High School. Yancey hit a walk-off home run to left field in the sixth inning, doubled in the third inning, and singled in the fifth inning.
The Salem Lady Greyhounds defeated Yellville-Summit 18-0 on Tuesday, April 15, making their standings on the season 12-1 overall and 9-0 in conference.
