The Salem Greyhounds junior high and 7th-grade volleyball teams wrapped up their season this week. The 7th grade squad ended with a record of 6-2.
The Cave City Cavemen traveled to Riverview and pulled off the upset with a 21-7 win. To start the game, the Cavemen drove the ball down the field 56 yards with number 21 Bryce Walling finishing the drive off with a 3-yard touchdown.
The Viola Lady Longhorns Golf Team had a remarkable round of golf at the Mountain Ranch Golf Course in Fairfield Bay for the 1A State Golf Tournament. The girls posted a tournament best team score of 296 to become the 2022 1A State Champions.
The Viola Boys Golf Team completed their season with a competitive performance in the 1A State Golf Tournament at Indian Hills Golf Course in Fairfield Bay on Oct. 3.
