CK II Ragball Memorial Tournament was recently held at the Fulton County Recreational Complex. This year, the profits were donated to the Zeigler family and the complex. Taking home the championship rings for a consecutive year was the team LUND. Team WOOT WOOT won second place and third place went to D2 Creations. Stacey Robbins won a $200 Academy gift card.

In fall 2020 and spring 2021, we tagged and released 1,464 Largemouth Bass, 159 Spotted Bass, and 16 Smallmouth Bass over 20 days or nights of electrofishing sampling. To date, we have received reports of 749 Largemouth Bass, 58 Spotted Bass, and 10 Smallmouth Bass caught by anglers fishing Norfork Lake.

“These bollworm numbers have exploded it seems in the past two or three weeks,” said John David Farabough, Desha County extension agent for the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture. “I have traps spread from north to south borders in Desha County and all are running high numbers for this time of year.”

“These 90 to 100 degree days with little or no rain has led to extremely dry conditions across the entire state,” said State Forester Joe Fox. “We are seeing an increase in the number of wildfires and their intensity, and that’s a trend that will continue until we see significant rainfall statewide.”
The TNT Gymnastics Team traveled to Daytona Beach for their National Competition, the XCEL Championships, June 16- 19. “It was amazing that we had every gymnasts qualify for this invitational meet this year,” said Coach Todd Conforth.
