Doyle Lee Shrable born March 5, 1947, in West Plains, Mo., to Rudolph Jonathan (Doc) Shrable and Erceil M. (Phillips) Shrable. Doyle left this earthly life peacefully at his home in Viola with his wife Judy and beloved pug Ziggi by his side on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.
Doyle worked for 31 years for Arkansas Highway Transportation Department (ADOT), with the first 13 years being a bookkeeper for the Norfork Ferry. Doyle also raised beef cattle and farmed until he was unable. Doyle never missed a baseball, softball or basketball game all the years that Justin and Brandi played during school. After retirement, he spent his time traveling, from Alaska to south Texas and everywhere in between. He loved spending time chasing around his grandkids to volleyball, swim, pageants and tee ball. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, friend, and was a member of the Flora Baptist Church in Viola, Arkansas.
Doyle leaves to mourn his passing, wife Judy Lee (Hutson) Shrable of 45 years and pug Ziggi Shrable of the home; son, Justin (Jennifer) Shrable of Jonesboro, Ark.; daughter, Brandi (Shrable) Burroughs of Mountain Home, Ark.; two granddaughters, Brytlee Beau Burroughs and Charlee Annette Shrable; grandson, Hutson Lee Shrable; brother, Pascal (Ruth) Shrable of Viola, Ark.; three brothers-in-law, James (Irene) Hutson of Viola, Ark., Dwayne (Terry) Hutson of Patton, Mo., and Vernon (Janie) Hutson of Viola, Ark.; sister-in-law, Anna (David) Humphries of Sturkie, Ark.; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and friends.
Doyle is proceeded in death by his parents (Rudolph Jonathan (Doc) Shrable and Erceil M. (Phillips) Shrable) and two brothers (Boyd Dean Shrable and Gordon R. Shrable).
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Flora Baptist Church in Viola, Ark. with Bro. Robert Lash officiating. Visitation was 12 – 2 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Flora Baptist Church in Viola, Ark. Interment was in the Flora Cemetery in Viola, Ark. Pallbearers were Boyd Ray Shrable, Brad Hutson, Jayme Dean Hutson, Wayne Hutson, BJ Humphries, and Jerry Prinner. Honorary pallbearers were James Hutson, Dwayne Hutson, Vernon Hutson, David Humphries, Dennis Perry, Elbert Layne, Dennis Richardson and Toby Banasiak.
