Glenda Irene Fite, 82, West Plains, Mo., formerly of Thayer, Mo., passed away at 12:17 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022, at Ozarks Medical Center.

She was born May 23, 1940, at Quincy, Ill., to Ralph Kramberg and Bessie Roberta Winget Kramberg. Glenda graduated from Central High School, Camp Point, Ill., with the Class of 1958. She was a veteran, having served with the United States Army. On Nov. 4, 1960, she was married at Fort Sam Houston Texas, to Victor Fite, Jr., who preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 2000. Mrs. Fite was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness and enjoyed doing church work.

She is survived by two sons, Victor Fite III and wife, Diana, Mesa, Ariz. and Walter Fite and wife, Rosemary, Batesville, Ark.; one grandson, David Fite and wife, Amy; one great-granddaughter, Azura Fite; one brother, Richard Kramberg and wife, Marilyn, Clayton, Ill.; one sister, Sharon Earp, Dayton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents and husband preceded her in death.
