Jackie R. Tucker, 87, of Ash Flat passed away Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023. She was born March 15, 1936, in Oil Trough, Ark. and was preceded in death by her parents, Irl and Mildred Langston Ruddell; a sister, Chloe Pitts; and a brother, Adler Ruddell.

A member of Salem First Baptist Church, Jackie loved her Lord and her family (especially grandkids). She was a voracious reader and worked alongside her husband as office manager for his medical practice.

Survivors include her husband of almost seventy years, Dr. Charles L. Tucker; a daughter, Kim Floyd (James) of Horseshoe Bend, Ark.; a son, Charles “Tony” Tucker (Susan) of Mineral, Va.; grandchildren: Jordan, Allyson, and Cody; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were on September 13 in Salem FBC with Bro. John Hodges officiating. The burial followed in Wiles Cemetery at Ash Flat. Pallbearers were Johnny Ray, Jason, and Grant Hyslip, Jordan Sample, Chris, and Logan Jennings.

Arrangements were made with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Ark.
