One of the main objectives of Lions Clubs International is to provide sight and vision assistance in communities around the world. Spring River Lions Club recently participated in this program at both Mammoth Spring and Thayer Elementary Schools. Dr. Tom Wood of Jonesboro and his team of Lions visited the schools on Sept. 21 and screened over 250 students. Shown here conducting a screening is Dr. Wood and a Thayer elementary student.
