Marcia Kay (Moye) Brown was born in Hanford, California, October 23, 1941, the daughter of Willis Eugene and Norene (Bell) Moye. She departed this life Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas, at the age of 74 years, 6 months and 21 days.

Marcia Moye was united in marriage to Jimmy Newell Brown in Corcoran, California, June 6, 1959. She spent most of her working years in the food service industry as a waitress. Marcia was a member of the Lanton Baptist Church in Lanton, Missouri. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.

Marcia is survived by her husband, Jim Brown of Salem, Arkansas; two sons, Jerry Brown (Starla) of Salem, Arkansas, and Kevin Brown (Amanda) of Sacramento, California; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Janice Bales (Jerry) of Tulare, California; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, great grandson, Zander Laxton and one brother, Ernest Moye.

Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Memorials may be made to Lanton Baptist Church in Lanton, Missouri.
