Melenda K. Roberts, 68, of Viola, Ark., passed from this walk of life on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, in Viola, Ark.

She was born in Peoria, Ill., on Aug. 22, 1953, daughter of the late Jim and Dorotha (Crotts) Roberts. Melenda spent her working years working at the library in Viola and Baxter Lab in Mountain Home, Ark. She was a member of Enterprise Baptist Church in Viola and loved attending and getting together with her church family. Melenda enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting.

Melenda is survived by her brother, Jimmie Roberts, Jr. and wife Dusty of Viola, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Dorotha Roberts.

Pallbearers were Steve Crispy, Dennis Williams, Butch Cotter, Ken Rogers, Keith Williams and Justin Luther.

Honorary Pallbearers were Johnny Roper and Phillip Cotter.

Funeral Services were held, Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Enterprise Baptist Church in Viola, Ark. beginning at 11 a.m. with Bro. Robert Lash officiating. Interment will follow at Pickren Hall Cemetery in Viola, Arkansas. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m.
