Robert Trent Zeigler

Robert Trent Zeigler, 45, of Salem, Ark., passed from this life on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Salem, Ark. Trent was born March 1, 1977, in Salem, Ark., to Kelly Ray Zeigler and Arleen Yvonne (Montgomery) Zeigler.

Trent spent his working years as a truck driver. Trent loved football, coon hunting, fox hunting, fishing, and rodeos (roping and steer wrestling). Trent also loved his family, friends, and his nephew Keaton, who just called him “Uncle”. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, friend, and was of the Baptist faith.

Trent leaves to mourn his passing, parents, Kelly and Yvonne Zeigler of Salem, Ark.; brother, Tate Zeigler of Salem, Ark.; nephew, Keaton Zeigler of Salem, Ark.; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents (Ray and Ramona Zeigler and Ralph and Karlena Montgomery).

Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Ark. with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation was 10 a.m. until time-of-service Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the Salem First Baptist Church. Interment was in the Salem Cemetery in Salem, Ark. Pallbearers were Leroy Moore, Ken Schauffler, Heath Humphries, Lance Humphries, Derek Hall, Dustin Hall, Daniel Berry, Deion Sanders, Mark Pate and Steve Moody. Honorary pallbearers were Keith Hancock, Chris Galbraith, Keith Guffey, Jon McHenry, Dusty Carr, James Cochran, Austin Prewitt, Aaron, Johnson, Randy Zeigler, Donnie Bryant, Roy Cunningham, David Curtis, Cody Curtis and Roger Bryant. Memorials may be made to the Salem High School Athletic Program in Salem, Ark. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Ark.
